i am both saddened and excited about the closing of one of my favorite boutiques, Topstitch Boutique. sad for pretty obvious reasons, but excited because i know this is just the beginning of lots of new things to come from the amazingly talented and trend savvy ladies. Tina and Linda, two of my most favoritest people, two of the hugest reasons i even have my own line, have inspired me, focused me, pushed me and held me (depending what the circumstance called for) in ways that i will be eternally grateful.
if you are in the philly area this evening, please join me to celebrate the works that Brain Gravy Creative, Topstitch Boutique and I Still Love You have collaborated on over the last few years. Follow the journey through stop motion animated girls getting “tried on” by their clothes, see swirls of ladies working it down the runway of the Topstitch Boutique Holiday 2009 fashion show hosted by Rose Luardo and Guns Garcia. Witness the glamazons of I Still Love You’s 3 part trilogy (redundant, what?!) slithering across the screen. I am positive you will enjoy them, at least half us much as we enjoyed making them.
hi my lovelies! we are in the new house and unpacking as we speak, er, well, i am, the man has spring fever a fever and is in bed 😦 the webiste continues to move forward after much technical difficulties and hair pulling and WILL (i swear it will) be done SOOOOOOON!! i’ve also been pulled for an insider style research company to help design a new line of hair products! i’ll tell you more in a few months!
i actually stayed in bed until 6pm. i dont know if i’ve ever done that before — but it was amazing. then back to party time. i have the most amazing friends! a fantastic time at the richardson and was generously given quite a few unexpected and beautiful gifts including an african seed bead inspired bracelet, Venetian glass bead friendship necklaces, a tote from my friends new collection, lightning bolt ring, massive sea shell ring in rose gold, a Topstitch original poncho that is AMAZE and a bunch of designer books from my lover. thank you all. ❤
so — no-photo, ya’ll looked hot, but the camera stayed away — cause it was my time to play! ha. until the walk home..
late night photo shoot with our friend Mary
waiting for the train in my new wolfords…
aaand late night prezzi opening — Adam gave me 3 amazing books – The Hermes Scarf; the BRAND NEW YSL Retrospective tome, and the worlds LARGEST Pucci book (btw one of the best comebacks for a label this year! Peter Dundas has done wonders! — the other you ask — Tommy Hilfiger. NO DOUBT)
my new sheer top is from Asos and is backless — so in love! worn with jessica rabbit style body suit, high waist satin shorts, wolford cage stockings, i still love you lead crystal necklace and feather clip and the mary rocks — J.C. you’re gonna have to give me some new shoes — these ones are almost dead! sad face!

i went to the coffee shop this morning and ran into Ryan from ManMan — an AMAZING philly band.. actually the last time i saw them play was on an incredibly hot and humid manhattan summer evening. they played in an amphitheater on the east river.. it was the day i was laid off from my soul sucking job. best day of my life.
*i am so so so pleased to say that my amazing friend linda smyth’s jewelry line Rabid Fox is now available at Need Supply! CONGRATULATIONS LINDA!
