I never would have guessed. look at the feathers embossed on the platform! and the silk coving the shoe. so in love.i plan on wearing these shoes with all my new Gareth Pugh…there are only two things this bag is missing:

1. a shoulder strap

2. me.  it misses me and told me so. help get me and my bag reunited!sometimes i need a bag attached to a bag… perfect for all those small things you dont want to loose in large places…“he came in my mouth so i had to kill him.”i intend to make this my “off roading” shoeuh, your fur clutch is only ONE color. pssht.

Givenchy Spring Summer 2011

impossibly skinny models walking down in sheer sheer sheer. leopard prints, lazer cutting and layers – a cornucopia of things i adore.  graceful and edgy, wild and wearable, Givenchy has been hitting us with one season after another of beautiful garments that push the envelope while continuing to to hold true to the label.  touches of Aeon Flux futurism, lace and leather ruffles and pleats, vamp lips and mini braids at the bottoms of crimped hair.  love.

a sheer thing

obsessing over all the ways to wear sheer this fall.  creating etherial layers that float over the body, layered over prints or chunky knits, sweet and romantic with just a touch of goth and victorian esthetic.  i love the idea of wearing a sheer button up done all the way to the neck, or a sheer maxi dress floating over a nude vintage slip and covered with a chunky cardi..

Topshop lace and knit sweatshirt

Alexander McQueen sheer button front blouse

super awesome lace garter tank by Kiki de Montparnasse

Wolford Cinema string body suit

Jill Sander iridescent long sleeve button up – i LOVE the contrast between the sheerness of the shirt/exposure with the demure long sleeve fully button up – my cup of tea.

Ann Demeulemeester Scoop neck tunic

Givenchy raw edge ruffle blouse

Givenchy silk and lace dress

McQ by Alexander McQueen lace detail top

House of Holland sheer lace short

Alexander Wang open back silk drape top

Ann Demeulemeester sheer sequin dress

Diane von Furstenberg

i love the combination of sheer maxi skirt with blazer, low necklace and flapper headband.  just the right amount of accessories and slouchy bag to make this look relaxed and so chic

with the tailored pant and touch of leopard print the sheer top and bra look sweet and lady like rather than over exposed and trashy

Maison Close Soutien-Gorge corset bra

Stella McCartney strapless organza dress – i have a feeling i am going to make myself something like this in a body con style

something other than black! the Podolls winged blouse

i LOOOOVE the mesh tee over cable knit sweater – and mixed with the leopard bag and phenomenal print leggings and coordinating scarf, this look is a total winner

Resort 2011 Womenswear: Givenchy

The past few seasons, Givenchy has been blowing my mind with vivid print mixing, tribal influence and towering platform shoes.  This Resort 2011 season, Riccardo Tisci has taken bold down a slightly new path – one where peasant meets party girl, hangs out in 1991 with Madonna and Karl Lagerfeld, and still sneaks home before her mom knows about any of it.
