So we all know Brazil is where it’s at to get your shoes made, but now there is a new designer out of Brazil that is blowing my mind grapes up.
Andreia Chaves and the Invisible Shoe
i am dying. i am dead.
i am so pleased to share with you the latest collection from I Still Love You NYC for Spring Summer 2013
i hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
with love, Carrie
i am completely in LOVE with this collection by Natalia Grzybowski. Not since i first saw Mary Katrantzou have i been this moved by an entire collection of clothing. the engineered prints, sculptural silk and quirkily feminine designs are opulent and completely wearable. (for me anyways!)
“each piece is an art form within itself, complementing, without overtly sexualising the female form, using shapes that are simultaneously structured, yet soft, mimicking the form of a flower.”

super playful and ever so avant garde, model Irina Zvidrina shows us just how many looks can come from one classic men’s button down

needing to get my hair cut, wanting this style for years (before it had the awful name it goes by these days) based on a boys cut and not too far off from what i’ve had before…. nomnomnom…… what do you think?!
gotta make my appointment with my girl Rachel over at nick arrojo asapz!
i hope you’re having a wonderful holiday weekend!
we’re in Rhode Island for the weekend and the weather is just stunning. we are going to walk down to the beach soon to smell some salty air and watch the waves crash on the rocks… and we wont even need coats!
every year my mother and i cook Thanksgiving dinner for my whole family. Adam helps by chopping and prepping, my father makes a cheesecake and everyone else shows up with some sort of appetizer and healthy appetites!
we only use the Meito gold encrusted china a few times a year, and i just adore it when we do. i love to think about all the special meals that have been served on these dishes, how many family members and friends that have used these over the last 80+ years…
